Minutes of Parents 4 Pupils meeting

Item 1: Papers for all to read
Mrs Baird issued two sets of paperwork and requested that everyone reads.
Paper 1: Bullying Workshop; if anyone else wishes to attend please let Mrs Baird or Nic know ASAP, currently only Nic and Stefanie are attending.
Paper 2: Carmyle Parent and Teacher MUGA Association; please read and mark any comments on the paperwork, these can be discussed at the next meeting. It has been confirmed that the ground at the nursery does not belong to the school – this will mean that we would have to apply for planning permission before applying for any grant to build there.
Item 2: Christmas Fayre
Cheryl brought posters and tickets for the Fayre which has been confirmed as 05.12.15. Cheryl will print more tickets and print posters for the chocolate tombola and Santa. (Cheryl)
Audry and Andrea has arranged for posters to be put up in the shops in Carmyle. They have also made 50 bags of Reindeer food.
Angela (Audry’s sister) has organised the children’s gifts from Santa.
Barbara will look into getting mince pies for the teabar, she will also check whether she still has stock of the Christmas goodies from last year which can be sold this year. (Barbara)
Barbara advised she still has a Rangers FC stadium tour prize which wasn’t won previously. Audry will call to ensure this is still valid. (Audry)
Jean has a donation from Tunnocks which is ready for collection.
Anne has confirmed that no donation of toys have been received as yet, it was decided that a text would be sent to all parents to remind them. (Mrs Baird)
Anne also advised that there are still items outstanding for the hamper. Can those still to donate please do ASAP to allow this to be made up. (All)
Andrea has purchased tea/coffee and sugar.
Stall are as follows: Tombola: Sandra/Marie/Patricia --- Toys: Audry/Robbie --- Hamper Raffle: Lee --- Cake and Candy: Barbara/Cheryl ---Tea and Coffee: Jean/1 other tbc ---Santa: Dave/teacher helper --- Chocolate tombola: Leeanne --- Door: TBC Mrs Baird has requested assistance from a member of staff. Mrs Baird has also sent a text to request additional parent helpers come forward.
The school let has been arranged by Mrs Baird but the kitchen let still has to be arranged. Mrs Baird will arrange same. (Mrs Baird)
For Health and Safety purposes a note of the total number of tickets sold (to be split between adult and child tickets) has to be given to Mr Baird.
It was agreed that all future meetings will take place on a Wednesday’s. The next meeting will be in the morning of 9th December @ 10:45am.
