Clerk looking for quotes for a new noticeboard, do we want wood or powder coated aluminium – aluminium required.
E mail from Democratic Services, are we interested in an annual meeting with Chairs and Clerks of Parish Council – Clerk to reply yes.
E mail from Ben Rutter interested in quoting for landscaping and tree surgery – keep on file.
Resident who showed an interest in becoming a Councillor has decided not to persue at this time – Chair to contact.
E mail from SDC re draft policy for managing council owned trees.
E mail from NYCC – are we interested in the opportunity to fund vehicle activated speed signs or speed indicator devises – Clerk to reply we are interested.
Leaflet received regarding radar speed activated speed signs, Clerk to ask for price for 2 to 5 solar speed signs.

Invoices received from Adams, Bedford Mowing, Clerks Salary, YLCA subscriptions, YLCA training course, Cheques made out and signed.
CIL statements have just been released, none for our area.
Canal and River trust have paid 5p for rent of towpath.
Allotment rents have been paid for the year 2018/2019 and banked in March.
VAT claim has been prepared and is ready to post.
Clerk attended a training course in York for 6 hrs and will attend one in Wakefield next week for 2.5 hrs agreed to pay 8.5hrs overtime.
End of year audit has been arranged for the 14th May.

Training Course.
18/04/753 / Clerk has requested to attend a computer course, and has asked the Parish Council to fund the course which will be done by the Clerk in her own time.

GDPR
18/04/756 / Clerk attending a course on GDPR next week. YLCA recommend that DPO must be independent. Bill still going through Parliament regarding DPOs for small parishes. There may also be a local council who will let smaller parishes use their DPO.

Allotments ground clearance
18/04/757 / 3 quotations received to clear access leading to the play area and adjacent to the allotment. Accept quote for work to be done by Henry Amos. Copy of Liability insurance received.

Planning Applications

  1. Ferrybridge D – consultation.
  2. Pool of sites consultation – no new ones in our area.
  3. Outline application for 1 dwelling alongside Jasmin on Broad Lane – no problems.
  4. Application to build a garage, walls and gates to Willow View, Weeland Road – no problem.

SDC are offering hi vis vests, litter pickers and bags to groups to clear rubbish – how much notice would they require if we were to set aside a weekend to do this?
