· The Duffy family, on the unexpected death of Kathy’s sister.
· Ellen Mailhot’s sister, Mary, in treatment for cancer.

9:00—Children are in Fellowship Hall for the entire service to participate in Kid’s Quest.
10:30—Children begin in the service then dismissed to Fellowship Hall following the Children’s Message.
For Students:
Ø Surge (middle school – 7th and 8th graders, Wednesdays 6:30-8:30 pm)
Ø Highlight (high school – 9th through 12th graders), Sundays 6-8 pm)
Ø Sunday mornings: High School Connection and Middle School Connection meets during the 9:00 am service in the Upper Room
For Adults: (beginning today)
Ø At 9:00 am: Raising a Modern-Day Knight, Commons Room (for men)
Join us for this six week study on a father's role in guiding his son to authentic manhood. The cost will be $30 (book and training manual) or $32 (ebook and training manual).
Ø At 10:30 am: New Testament Books of the Bible, Commons Room

The Gathering Resumes this Wednesday, January 13!
Dinner, 5:30-6:15 pm in Fellowship Hall. Suggested donation $5 adult, $3 children. On the menu: sirloin steak cooked to order; mushrooms, onions, and gravy on the side; and baked potatoes.
Parenting Group: “It Starts at Home” with video teacher Matt Chandler. In these six sessions, we will explore biblical and tangible ways that parents—couples, single parents, blended families and grandparents—can build a legacy of faith for their children. 6:15 pm in the Commons Room. For parents of children of all ages.

Childcare is available from 6:15-8:30 for those attending studies or rehearsals.
Birthday Lunch, Thursday, January 14. All women are invited to celebrate those with January birthdays at Shorty’s in Bedford at 11:30. Come whether it is your birthday month or not! We order off the menu and pay for our own lunches. RSVP to Victoria Kruggel ()
“Understanding and Answering ISLAM” simulcast conference sponsored by Ratio Christi, The Nathan Project and Bethany Covenant Church with Ravi Zacharias International Ministries, Friday, January 15 (7-9 pm) and Saturday, January 16 (9 am-3:30 pm) at Bethany. Like Coffee and Fellowship on Sundays? Did you know our coffee is from Dunkin Donuts? It’s true! We are looking for a few people to join the Hospitality Team once or more a month to brew coffee, set-up the treats, coffee, hot water, etc. following the 10:30 service.
