We Are Pleased to Announce That the Painting Project

We are pleased to announce that the painting project

will begin in late spring and continue into the summer!

Please see the following instructions from the Committee.

The Painting Contractor Committee (fellow Owners Bruce McClenathan, Bob Schmollinger and Floyd Trosper) has been working over the past couple of months to finalize a contract with a painting contractor to have our buildings, patios, balconies, stairways, walkways and railings painted over the late spring and summer timeframe.

The Committee needs to inform all Owners of several issues as we approach the start of this painting project and the end of the winter occupancy season. The following instructions are provided to you as an Owner in order that the painting project proceeds with the minimum disruption and with the minimum effect on Owner and common property.

1. To the maximum extent possible, please remove your screens from all doors and windows in your unit. Store the screens inside of your unit. Removal of your screens will help prevent damage to your screens during the power washing and painting portions of the project. The Inlet Beach Club will not be able to take any liability for damage to screens left in place. That responsibility will belong to the contractor but repaired screens are not necessarily as good as the originals.

2. Please remove all patio and balcony deck furniture and store inside of your unit.

3. Please leave your Hurricane Shutters in the open position or closed but not locked/pinned in the closed position. The painting contractor will need access to the wall areas behind the shutters when they are closed.

4. Please identify any specific concerns that you might have with regard to the upcoming painting project to a member of the Painting Contractor Committee or to Scott Wisuri.

5. Owners who leave vehicles on-site during the off season should ensure that a set of keys are on-site with Scott. That will allow your vehicle to be moved from areas that might be exposed to the painting project activities.

Regarding the Hurricane Shutters, Scott and Jose will ensure that all shutters are closed up following the completion of the painting project and prior to the hurricane season. If, during the process of the painting project, it becomes necessary to have the shutters closed, Scott and Jose will ensure that appropriate steps are taken to have the shutters closed.

For those Owners who remain on-site during the painting project, the same instructions apply. Scott will provide timely communication to all Owners as to the start and finish dates for each building.

We expect that the painting contractor will not require access to any unit. All access for the project will be from the exterior of the units. If there is an unforeseen circumstance where access is required, it will be authorized only with the accompaniment of Scott, as an authorized representative of the Owners.

If you have questions, please contact Scott. He will have access to the Board and the Painting Contractor Committee.
