Miguel Garza Memorial “Love and Light” Scholarship

Dear Applicant,

We thank you for your interest in applying for the attached scholarship application. We also want to thank you for the time and effort that you will put forth into preparing your packet. This application will be viewed by various committee members of the Foundation and scored anonymously based on the rubric you have been provided.

Some things to keep in mind when working on your application:

  1. Make every effort in creating your application to be as professional as possible. This includes typing your application and using correct spelling, grammar and punctuation. Have several people proof read your application.
  2. Make sure that you are answering all questions and completing all sections of the application. Are you qualified for the scholarship you are applying for? Please make sure that you list all accomplishments. Remember, the committee will not know who you are and they will only be seeing what you have listed. This is your opportunity to shine!
  3. If you are applying for multiple scholarships it is important that you do not photocopy your application and turn it in for all of the scholarship applications. Each scholarship has its own criteria. Therefore, duplicating your application is not in your best interest.

On behalf of Miguel’s family, friends and Sanger Education Foundation Board of Directors, we wish you continued success in your future endeavors.

Sincerely yours,

The Programs Committee

Sanger Education Foundation
