Minimum of 3Explorers/team – Maximum 5 Explorers/Team (ONLY 4 participants/Scenario)

**Multiple teams will be permitted**

Explorers will compete in all 4 of the following events:

▪ AccidentInvestigation▪ DomesticViolence Intervention

▪ Building Searches▪ Traffic/FelonyStops

  • Certificateswill be given toall participants.
  • Awards will be given tothefirstthreeplaces ofeach event.
  • GovernorsCup is awarded totheoverall winner on Sun, April 30th at10:30 am.

Registrationpacketsforyourfirstteam are dueNOLATERthanApril 1st,2017.

Due to the high volume of teams, Team 1 will be registered. After the registration date, if the post has a second or third team to participate, they will be entered by the date the packet is received.

$50.00 is due by April 1 (closing registration), the remaining balance is due on April 27th at check-in. Please don’t send the full amount, multiple teams are not guaranteed.

Anemailconfirmationwill be sent thedayyourregistrationis received and another on April 2, 2018 to notify how many teams are entered. An invoice showing teams/balance due on that date. If you have not received an email by April 8th,2018,pleasecontactme.

No refunds for Explorers not attending on date of registration.

  • Ifthereare any disciplinary problems withExplorers,thepostwill be disqualifiedand asked to leave thecompetition.No one oftheoppositesex will be allowed in theopen bays AT ANY TIME-any violationis an immediatedisqualification.
  • Non competingExplorers are encouraged to come.Itwill be theadvisors responsibilitytomake sure their Explorers are accountedforatall times.
  • Postswill competein all 4 events and a written test (used only for a tie-breaker)
  • UD-10 taught at 2017 Academy will be used for accidents.
  • Advisorswill be required totaketheirpostsoffbase forentertainmenton Saturdaynight.
  • Fullymarked patrolvehicles are in desperateneedforscenarios.Itwould be greatly appreciatedifevery departmentparticipatingbring up atleastone vehicle.
  • Therewill be NO personal cameras or cell phones allowed in thescenarios.
