Meetings as a process of Leadership
The meetings process is designed so that the desired outcomes can be met effectively and efficiently. All team meetings organise, select, learn and judge using the background of the joint beliefs and core values
Multiagency leadership team-weekly Monday
Membership –Head of Centre/Assistant Head/Office Manager/Clinical Co-ordinator/Contracts manager/Senior Health NNEB/Marketing manager/Family Work Co-ordinator/Birth To Three Co-ordinator/SENCO
This team : identifies how different teams and individuals affect each other in the centre
: Discuss and leap barriers that exist between teams because these barriers could affect meeting our desired outcomes
: Improve processes and highlight areas where they do not match our core values and support meeting the outcomes for children and families
Family Support Team Meeting-Weekly Monday
Family Work Co-ordinator (link from leadership team meeting)/SENCO/Senior Family Workers/Community Family Workers/PSA/Health Visitor/Learning Mentor
This Team: discusses and allocates new referrals
: Examines and support current caseloads
: Information shares among professionals
: Reports progress on the core offer and outcomes monitoring for family support work
Education Team Meetings-weekly Monday
Membership –Assistant Head Teacher/Family Work Co-ordinator/SENCO/HLTA/Birth to three Co-ordinator / Teacher/and full teaching team
This team: receives appropriate information sharing feedback from both the leadership team and the family support team meetings
: Plans teaching and learning
: assesses and monitors children’s progress
: Contribute to pastoral care of family support cases
: contributes to IEPs for Children with Special needs
: Feeds back ideas and change at all levels to the Leadership team
Child Development Staff Team Meeting-weekly Wednesdays
Membership-Clinical Co-ordinator/SENCO/Family worker /paediatricians/Occupational therapist/physiotherapist/Senior NNEB/NNEB/Teacher specialist support service
This Team: discusses new referrals of children with Special Needs and disabilities for specialist assessments
: examines integration for these families with other services within the centre
: takes feedback from Leadership team meeting and contributes to ideas and changes at all levels to the leadership team
The teams believe in working in a collaborative multiagency way .They have bought into a set of common values that make the processes effective and outcomes easier to achieve.
