MEETING MINUTES
DECEMBER 12, 2006

STEVE CRUTCHFIELD CALLED THE MEETING TO ORDER
OLD BUSINESS
Matt Wiley has ordered and received two NO SOLICITING signs to be placed at the entrance and at the 4 way stop at the top of the hill. He will install signs this week.
Matt Wiley has contacted Schubert to discuss the lighting at the front entrance and review punch list items that need to be corrected.
Mark White will follow up with the Amberwood HOA punch list; however, he will no longer be working with Schubert builders.
Ron Schoolcraft received a final quote on the Pool Window Roll of $206.28 + tax.
Measurements – 46 ½ wide x 35 inches tall.
Steve Crutchfield winterized pool bathrooms, turned off water, etc, prior to a water pipe bursting causing water damage to the kitchen area. Steve Crutchfield inspected the pipes in the rafters and noticed there was a split pipe that was capped. Matt Wiley will contact Schubert and add to the punch list.
All Architectural Requests must be submitted to the BOD for review and approval.
The Architectural Request form on the website will be replaced with a updated version for Homeowners to print, complete, and return.
Kim Olen and Steve Crutchfield updated the New Amberwood Subdivision Directory.
We discussed the possibility of putting together a directory that incorporated the original map. Any Homeowners that are interested in receiving an updated directory should contact Kim Olen or send an email request to
Steve Crutchfield purchased and installed Red Bows at the Amberwood entrance.
NEW BUSINESS
Ron Schoolcraft is getting bids from the following companies for lawn maintenance:
- All Seasons
- AA Lawn
- Farragut Lawn Care
- Cut N Edge Lawn Care
The Amberwood Christmas Activities have started.
- Kim Olen purchases a Santa Suit for Amberwood Activities.
- Kim Olen distributed a paper copy of the Newsletter, as well as Email follow ups regarding current activities.
- The 1st Annual Christmas Lights contest via the Amberwood website is receiving up to 125 votes per day.
- Rhonda Shields generously donated items for the Santa Store and for the Cookie Decorating activity.
Kim Olen will post Covenants and Restrictions on website.
Donna LaFrance has met with Judy and has transferred all HOA Secretarial duties.
Kim Howell was not present, however, stated prior to the meeting that she will contact volunteers to start a Neighborhood Watch program in January.
Sandra Kanipe had several ideas to establish a Welcome Committee for all new homeowners. She will contact volunteers via email to determine duties.
Kim Olen will create an Expense Reimbursement Form.
Kim Olen will put a reminder in the January 2007 Newsletter that the HOA yearly dues of $250 should be submitted no later than January 31st, 2006. A late fee of $35 will be assessed if not received by February 15th.
Next Board Meeting will be held January 9th, 2007 at 7:00pm. Matt Wiley will reserve the room at GanderMountain.
