 - Something will be online by end of this week
 - Counselors to review tomorrow
 - Fact Sheets: program of study approved and vetted through the state
 - Any change/discrepancy should be brought to the department chair and Alicia/Melain/Benjamin…
 - Curriculum update: inquiry from Lourdes Brent
 - Admin to attend counseling meetings regularly to give VP’s report…
 - Board Rule 6200: student catalog rights to use any year catalog as long as they were enrolled continuously

- Petition form available that students submit for application/degree
 - Department liaison/counselor should be outreaching to department faculty and connect for communication.
 - More communication with counselors and department so faculty know who to send students to for graduation
 - September 8, 2016: counseling chair worked with counselors to identify liaison for Programs of Study that are not in a pathway
 - Ed Policies perspective: have standard Student Ed Plan
 - What’s our philosophy on how to advise students and having one consistent Student Ed Plan?
 - Ed Policies:
 - Develop graduation application process that breaks down barriers for students
 - Streamline process if student does not have to see a counselor for graduation; board does NOT require counselor to sign off on graduation application
 - Next Consultation for Senate/President:
 - Discuss the greater role of Advising and Counseling….

- Pathway Math and English…
 - Admin working with Vice Chancellor Ryan Cornner for clarification and to revise forms online
 - We need Cosmo chair to confirm Cosmetology Department reps on Academic Senate
 - Pathway conversations to happen in Spring 2017
 - Discussion on:
 - Core curriculum
 - Public services/consumer services pathway (including Culinary/Cosmo) OR separate pathway; most likely they are to be separate pathways…and what do you call them?
 - How many counselors are needed?
 - Business/labor are servicing those pathways
 - Third phase pathways were self-selective  Spring 2017 to start discussion
 - How many counselors per student headcount?
 - Faculty advisors
 - Navigators
 - Conversation needed with new department leadership regarding what it means to be a pathway…how many counselors are needed?

- Permission from Carole and Wally for administration to add navigators to the lists of hires in pathways that are already recognized
 - For pathways, start with core curriculum and identify what overlaps in Cosmo/Culinary…review report submitted to ACCJC where LATTC did not have to do a substantive change due to program overlap
 - FHPC Timeline was reviewed with administration
 - Send President FHPC ranking in December 2016
