MEMBERSHIP & EVENT COORDINATOR

He/She must have minimum qualifications of three (3) years prior experience in catering and or membership sales. Must possess excellent attitude, verbal and written communication skills. Must be hands-on, detail oriented, and have the ability to multi-task. Must be a good communicator and capable of gaining member/guest confidence when selling the product. Must exhibit strong passion and willingness to learn and grow as well as friendly and professional image, excellent organizational and follow-up skills with great attention to detail.

POSITION DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

He/she is responsible for Membership sales, Member retention, Member participation and promotions, club tours and increasing revenues per Member as well as Banquet Bookings. Determines markets to be canvassed for qualified individuals, completes and maintains perpetual member invitee roster. Makes recommendations regarding membership classifications to help ensure that the needs of ever-changing markets are met. Plans, directs, coordinates, promotes and manages the club’s social events He/she is the primary liaison between all committees and the club at large.

Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications. After 90 days, eligible for health, bonus and after one year of service two weeks of vacation and sick day’s and 401-K.
