Human

Handling precautions: Avoid ingestion, prolonged repeated exposure to the skin and keep out of eyes. May cause skin irritation if exposure is prolonged and/or repeated. May cause eye irritation.

Do not expose to temperatures in excess of 50ºC. Keep out of reach of children.

Ecological

Not completely bio-degradeable. Discharge of large quantities into the aquatic environment may kill fish and other aquatic organisms.

4. FIRST AID

Skin Exposure: In the event of exposure wash off with soap and water. Remove contaminated clothing and launder before re-use.

Eye Contact: Rinse with copious amounts of water for at least 10 minutes. Seek medical advice.

Ingestion: If accidentally ingested, rinse out the mouth with water and drink copious amount of water. Do not induce vomiting. Seek medical advice.

Inhalation: In case of prolonged inhalation, remove from exposure. Keep warm and at rest. If unwell, seek medical attention and show container or label.

5. FIRE-FIGHTING MEASURES

Do not expose to temperatures exceeding 50°C.

FLAMMABLE

Do not expose to temperatures exceeding 50°C. Keep out of reach of children.

Extinguishing Media: Powder, foam, sand, water spray.

Fumes containing carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide and oxides of nitrogen may be formed in large fires.

6. ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES

Spills should be contained and collected. Absorb on to sand/kieselguhr or other inert material. For spillages involving a large number of units, operators should wear suitable protective clothing in the form of gloves, overalls and eye protection.

7. HANDLING & STORAGE

Store between 5°C and 50°C out of direct sunlight. Avoid exposure to frost. Do not freeze. Keep away from sources of ignition and store in well ventilated areas. Do not store close to strong oxidising agents.

10. STABILITY & REACTIVITY DATA

Stable at temperatures from 5°C to 50°C. Do not store or handle at temperatures in excess of 50° C (133° F). Do not expose to naked flame and avoid contact with strong oxidising agents.

Hazardous decomposition or by-products: Carbon dioxide, Carbon monoxide and Oxides of Nitrogen in large fires. Hazardous polymerisation will not occur.

The product is not persistent, bioaccumulative & toxic (PBT) or very persistent and very bioaccumulative (vPvB) as defined in Annex XIII of REACH or included in the European Chemicals Agency Candidate List of substances of very high concern. The SDS Sheets are prepared in accordance with REACH (Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and restriction of Chemicals) which became UK law on 1 June 2007 & encompassing CHIP Regulations 2002.
