Position Description
Position Title: Senior Project Manager
Reports To: Chief Financial Officer Supervises: N/A
FLSA: Exempt
Grade: B2
Job Purpose: Manage life cycle of multiple projects including initiation, planning, design, execution, monitoring, controlling and closure of projects.
Functional Responsibilities:
· Responsible for the day-to-day management of project portfolios and individual projects.
· Work with project teams to ensure systems and implementations are according to stated objectives, policies, procedures, and meet requirements and deadlines.
· Manage and analyze completed work documents and ensure all work efforts are fully documented.
· Develop a corporate wide project management culture providing training resources and tools to facilitate the most efficient execution of projects.
· Promote, facilitate and provide tools to execute strategic project management at CRJ.
· Participate in the development of operational budgets and expenditures pertaining to necessary project support, i.e. needed infrastructure of major project stakeholder(s), and product/service development.
· Meet with department heads, managers, supervisors, vendors, and others, to solicit cooperation and resolve problems related to project implementation and execution.
· Analyze user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate or improve existing project management systems capabilities, workflows, and scheduling limitations.
· Manage functions such as work schedules, work assignments, and the documentation of tasks and processes.
· Manage the tracking of high-cost assets associated with the project to ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
· Negotiate with project stakeholders and suppliers to obtain resources or materials.
· Manage supplier relationships in conjunction with major stakeholder(s) of the project. Negotiate pricing. Work with IT/TS to track any software licensing compliance and negotiate licensing terms with associated project development.
· Assign duties, responsibilities, and spans of authority to project personnel.
· Perform analysis and prepare and for on-going reports to management.

Qualifications:
· BS/BA with 4-6 years of progressive professional project management experience with 2 years of experience at a senior management level including strong organizational and analytical skills; or
· Progressive educational experience with 8 or more years of management/project responsibility.
· Project Management certification is a plus or significant course advancement or application
· Experience using project management software such as Genius Project, AtTask, Project Insight, Project Manager, etc.
· Proven project management and leadership skills with a history of on-time solution delivery, and ability to effectively manage multiple detail-oriented projects
· Several years working with different functional disciplines, i.e. accounting, HR, human services, and non-profit entities a plus.
· Experience with Microsoft products such as Active Directory, Exchange Server, SQL Server, Share Point, Office, and Office365, are a plus.
· Knowledge querying databases (MS Access, MS SQL Server) and other information sources to prepare a wide range of report.
