MACHINE TOOLS / Since 2004, after obtaining my Bachelor Degree at university, I have been working with many companies around the world operating in various fields (Machine and Tools, Fashion, Arts, Sports and Olympic Games, Automotive, Hospitality, Tourism, Law, Culinary, etc.). Apart from translating and interpreting, when I work with such companies I am also in charge of organising trips (flight and train schedules, accommodation and meals) and I travel with the clients as tour leader and tour guide to assist them and solve any problem that might arise.
I worked one year as Duty Manager in Holiday Inn Temple of Heaven Beijing, China. At the beginning I was hired as Management Trainee in the F&B Dept and then I received an upgraded to the Front Desk Dept as GRO and Duty Manager due to my excellent language knowledge, communication skills and problem solving ability. Twice a week I was also in charge of teaching English to the Hotel F&B and Front Desk team.
I cooperated with Consorzio Italasia Representative Office in Beijing, China. My job was a sort of Event Planner Organizer as I was in charge of organizing all the accommodation, meals and flight schedule for the Italian Companies which attended the International Packaging Fair.
While attending University in Beijing Language & Culture University I worked as teacher of English and Italian to Chinese students.www.blcu.edu.cn
While preparing the last exams at Ca Foscari Venice University, I worked few months in EDT Lonely Planet Italia Offices in Turin, my hometown. My job was translating from English to Italian some chapters of the LP Italian edition and learn how to edit and prepare the lay out of the Guides.
Pama SPA is my best customer as since MARCH 2006 I have been cooperating with them at least once a month for a period of 2 to 3 weeks. When I cooperate with Pama I am in charge of the Chinese delegations: during meetings and training courses I am their interpreter, during evenings and weekends I become a Tour Organizer and Tour Guide as a part from organizing their trips around Eu and Italy (booking hotels, flights and trains) I aslo go with them and assist them all day long.
Pietro Carnaghi SPA is another very good customer since JUNE 2008 my job description is pretty much the same than in Pama. When Chinese Delegations arrive in the Company they called me to manage them from interpreting to organizing trips and solving problems during their staying, usually 2 or 3 weeks every 2 months.
Rambaudi SPA is another very good customer since MAY 2006 my job description is pretty much the same as in the previous Companies. When Chinese Delegations arrive in the Company they called me to manage them from interpreting to organizing trips and solving problems. Unfortunately Rambaudi SPA ceased activities in 2009 due to the global financial crisis.
Fidia SPA is another very good customer since OCTOBER 2006 my job description is pretty much the same as in the previous Companies. When Chinese Delegations arrive in the Company they called me to manage them from interpreting to organizing trips and solving problems.
Favretto Mecanodora SPA is another very good customer since OCTOBER 2008 my job description is pretty much the same as in the previous Companies. When Chinese Delegations arrive in the Company they called me to manage them from interpreting to organizing trips and solving problems. Unfortunately this company is also feeling the effects of the crisis.since 2011 I have been only seldom cooperating with them.

CUISINE / Fiat SPAis another good customer especially because my hometown is Turin so since MAY 2007 I have been cooperating with them, both in Turin and in the Cassino plant. Usually my job in Fiat is Translating written documents and Interpreting during meetings and training courses prepared for the Chinese employees who live in the Chinese plant. Usually with Fiat I am not in charge of the schedule organization as there is the PR Dept which organizes trips.
Giugiaro Italdesign SPA I have been cooperating also in the Industrial Automotive field, since APRIL 2008. I have been working with them mainly during business meetings in order to discuss JV and other marketing issues.
GR Design SPA I have been cooperating also in the Industrial Design Automotive field with GR design, a small Company in Turin, since SEPTEMBER 2006. I have been cooperating with them as Translator for brochure and written files and as Interpreter during 3 business trips to China to look for a partner to start a JV with. So my job was not only interpreting but also organizing flight schedule, accommodation and all meetings schedule.
Mistral Tours Quality Groupsince AUGUST 2007 I have been cooperating with this TO as Tour Leader for Italian Touristic Groups starting from 15 to 35 people. I have been traveling as TL around China, India, North and South America, Australia, New Zealand, Vietnam, Cambodia.

Beijing 2008 from JUNE 2008 to SEPTEMBER 2008 during the Olympic Games in Beijing I worked for the IOC. I was in charge of the Delegations of Italian Journalists as Interpreter during interviews with the athletes and as Tour Leader during the Games
Fondazione per l’arte since JANUARY 2007 I have been occasionally cooperating with Fondazione per l’Arte when there are Exhibitions about Chinese Arts in Italy, mainly Turin and Treviso. From JULY 2008 to NOVEMBER 2008 I was supporting all the operations during the exhibition “Celeste Impero” in the Turin Arts Museum especially during the install and uninstall operations. A good Interpreter is necessary when moving some Terracotta Warriors!
