Teacher shows students the photos of Spiderman, Batman, and Superman and asks them to identify what are the common points and characteristics they can conclude from these 3 characters. Through this, teacher tells students that they are all righteous heroes and bring out today’s topic--Righteousness.
Teacher asks students to answer a question (slide 2) and ask them if they think their choice shows they have done a righteous thing.
Task 1: Teacher asks students to define righteousness and write down the most righteous thing they have done in the pass years. After that, choose 2/3 students to share their ideas. / to engage students’ prior knowledge to arouse their interests / Pictures, PowerPoint

10 mins / Main Activity:
1. Teacher will define the Righteousness and inform the class how it can be performed in their daily life.
2. Task 2: Teacher shows example of righteousness and unrighteousness (video of blind cheat) for students to have better understanding of this term.
3. Task 3: Divide the class into group of 5/6 heterogeneously. Each group will be given a case (hit and run, drinking and eating in mrt, clerk in down syndrome abuse). Each group has to discuss about :
If you are the problem maker(only for hit and run)/onlooker,
1) What would you do in a righteous way?
2) Why will you do like this?
The groups will be named A,B,C,D,E,F accordingly. There will be one student of each group to be the presenter and one of them to be writer. The writers have to note down their discussion results on the A4 paper given. In the meanwhile, the other group members also note down their discussion results on their handout. Teacher will facilitate the discussion.
Note: 2/3 groups will be discussing on same topic. Before the discussion starts, show them the hit and run video and clerk in down syndrome abuse video( stop at 2:06mins) to let them have a better understanding of the cases.
4. After 10 mins, students will be instructed to paste their A4 papers on the wall. Once finish, they will be starting the game” world café”. The presenters of each group (café) will remain in their own groups (cafes) to present for the other groups. Whereas, other group members will be moving to the respective groups(café) clockwise to pay them a visit(listen to their presentation)(A-B,B-C,C-D,D-E,E-A).After every 1 minute, they will move to another groups again(A-C,B-D,C-E,D-A,E-B). They will move 5 rounds. Thus, after 5 rounds, all the groups should have listened all the topics.
5. Teacher chooses some students to share about what they have listened. Teacher gives comments and complement by showing them relevant video (clerk in down syndrome abuse). Students will be given a chance to see how other people doing in a righteous way to help the down syndrome clerk. Lastly, teacher asks the students to vote for the best group. / engage students’ learning with real-world contexts and promote self-directed learning and collaborative learning
