Information on Traveling to Vienna

Flights:

If you are flying – the best way to reach Vienna is through the Vienna International Airport (VIE). To get from the airport to the city center, take a taxi or the City Airport Train (CAT). The CAT only takes 16 minutes and leaves every 30 minutes. You can find more information about the CAT here:

Getting Around Vienna:

You have several options to get around Vienna.

Walking: Once in the city center many of Vienna’s main attractions can be seen by foot

U-Bahn/ S-Bahn: Vienna’s underground and oveground system is easy to use and economical. There is a line U2 S-Bahn stop at the Hospital/ course venue called Donauspital (highlighted on map below). Tickets for the U-Bahn and S-Bahn can be purchased at individual stations before boarding a train. More information, including trip planning can be found here:
