Section 1: Dressage will start at 9am (2 rings will be running)

Class 1 8 yrs & under lead rein D Test 2012

Class 2 8 yrs & over / D Test 2012
Class 3 Grassroots / Grassroots Test 2016 (Junior Eventing and Grassroots Dressage)
Class 4 Novice / Novice Eventing Test 2013
Class 5 Novice / Novice Dressage 2009
Class 6 Inter / Int Eventing Test 2015

Class 7 Inter Int Dressage 2013

Class 8 Open Open Eventing Test 2010

Class 9 Open Open Dressage 2015

All class from 3-9 relate to the area tests for the Area Dressage and Eventing 2016. You can enter as many tests as you wish, even if you not planning on aiming for area teams. This is a good opportunity to Have a Go.

Grassroots – please see the main PC website for eligibility for the Grassroots competitions. This class is aimed at new or novice members who have not represented the branch at Novice Area level in that discipline.

Show Jumping: Will start at 10am (1 ring will be running)

Class 10 Lead Rein Jumps very small (rider may not enter class 13 and above)

Class 11 55cm assistance permitted

Class 13 65cm

Class 14 75cm

Class 15 80cm (Area Grassroots 1st round height)

Class 16 90cm (Area Novice 1st round height)

Class 17 100cm (Area Int 1st round height)

Class 18 105/110cm ( Area open 1st round height)

If you jump clear, you stay in the ring to jump a shortened course for the jump off. (class 18 will only run with 4 + competitors).

If a competitor enters class 3 & 15, 4 & 16, 6 & 17, 8 & 18 their scores will automatically be added together for the Combined training trophies.

RULES

* All classes run under Pony Club Dressage and Show Jumping Rules 2016.

* If a competitor starts on the Lead rein they must stay on the lead rein all day.

* Class 1 to 3 can use any normal riding bit in the dressage.

* Only classes 1 to 3 may have a commander for the dressage. All others must be ridden from memory (run under Area competition rules)

* If you wish to be considered for the SJ/Dressage/Eventing teams it is advisable to jump the team height for your chosen area selection and do at least 1 of the dressage tests that will be used. * Whips can only be carried in classes 1,2 and the Pure Dressage classes. No whips in eventing tests * Hats must be worn at all times. PC Members must abide by PC hat rule and hats need to be tagged.

* All dressage tests up to 2016 are available on the pony club web site

* Trophy to winning combination (or highest placed CFHS members) in some of the classes (dressage and CT)

* The PC has agreed that nickel bits and irons are unsafe.

* Ponies/horses must be tacked up properly and riders appropriately dressed for all classes at all times. *PLEASE MAKE SURE ON THE DAY YOU PRESENT TO THE DRESSAGE ARENA

10MINS BEFORE YOUR TIME OR YOU WILL BE ELIMINATED

* Medial cover at our events complies with PC rules

* We reserve the right to refuse entries from those we feel are over qualified/or entered the wrong class.

* Maximum height of jumps in practice ring will be no higher than the class being jumped.

*ENTRIES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED WITHOUT FULL PAYMENT ENCLOSED

* At all our events objections must be accompanied by a deposit of £10 that will be refunded if the objection is upheld within 30 mins of the class finishing. Results will be posted for 30mis before any prizegiving.

COMPETING AT OUR COMPETITIONS PLEASE NOTE:-

1. Save for the death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the organisers, or anyone for whom they are in law responsible, neither the organisers of this event or The Pony Club nor any agent, employee or representative of these bodies, nor the landlord or his tenant, accepts any liability for any accident, loss, damage, injury or illness to horses, owners, riders, spectators, land, cars, their contents and accessories, or any other personal property whatsoever, whether caused by their negligence, breach of contract or in any other way whatsoever. Entries are only accepted on this basis.

2. The organisers of this event have taken all reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present at this event. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents. They must obey the instructions of the organisers and all officials and stewards.

3. All non Pony Club competitors are not covered by The Pony Club insurance and must have their own third party cover. The CFHS Branch of The Pony Club and the organisers of this event are not legally responsible for non Members and their insurance will not cover you.

BY SIGNING THE DECLARATION ON ALL ENTRY FORMS YOU ARE GUARANTEEING THAT YOU HAVE APPROPRIATE THIRD PARTY INSURANCE. UNSIGNED DECLARATIONS WILL BE RETURNED.

For Pony Club Members a hat with the BSI kitemark and either BSEN 1384:1997 or EN 1384:1996 or PAS 015:1998 must be worn when mounted and the chin strap must be fastened. Also Snell E2001 with the official Snell label and number or AS/NS 3838 1998 or AS/NS 38382003 with the official SAI Global label. These standards are compulsory for Pony Club members at all our events and random checks may be made.

Entries Fees: THESE MUST BE SENT WITH ENTRY FORM AT TIME OF ENTRY.

All classes £8 per entry

4 classes per horse/rider combination £25

Entries for the SJ MAY be taken on day depending on numbers but will be £10 per entry Rosettes to 6th

NO LATE ,TELEPHONE OR ON DAY ENTRIES WILL BE ACCEPTED. Date stamped on envelope will be taken as date posted. FULL PAYMENT MUST BE ENCLOSED.

DRESSAGE TIMES (+approx SJ times) WILL BE ON THE CFHS WEB SITE. FROM THE 31st May IF NO WEB ACCESS SEND A SAE WITH ENTRY
