The Diablo Regional Arts Association (DRAA) is excited to host our annual On Broadway fundraising gala on Saturday, October 5, 2013. On Broadway is an essential component of DRAA’s mission to increase the quality and accessibility of the arts at Walnut Creek’s Lesher Center for the Arts. We have successfully established On Broadway as the best gala in the East Bay and want to invite you to participate by donating to our auction.
Over the past eight years, the DRAA has provided more than $5 million to arts organizations to enhance programming at the Center. Every gift enables DRAA to increase outreach to underserved youth and in 2012-13 we served 6,000 students through our ArtsAccess School Time Program. The summer of 2012 also marked DRAA’s debut as a presenter with the inaugural season of Jazz at the Lesher Center bringing internationally acclaimed jazz artists to Walnut Creek diversifying the local culture in a new way. DRAA’s work in the community continues to thrive because of the generosity of many.
