Macbeth Comic Book
You and your group will produce a comic book story based on Macbeth. Your story will take place in modern times and can be based in the setting of your choice. You will each have a different role within your group: illustrator, letterer, colorist, writer, presenter, director.
Roles:
Director: leads group discussions; makes sure group is on task; group spokesman
Writer: writes what will take place in each panel along with accompanying text
Illustrator: draws the comic according to the direction of the group
Letter: writes all text on the comic
Colorist: colors the drawing
(* If you have 4 group members, the director will assume one of the other responsibilities.)
You will need to decide what key moments and text from the play needs to be included. Then, you will decide what layout and illustrations will most effectively tell your story. Your comic should contain all five acts that are at least four pages each, for a total of 20 pages. You may certainly create more!
