This is a smart card based application that is being developed for a Health Insurance Company. This health card system would enable patients history, medications taken etc to be stored in the card.

•Analyze the development needs by gathering the requirements.

•Design a unique IT architecture for the Health Care industry by providing a web-based solution for the health card system for National Health Care Management.

This is a banking software switch that acts as an interface between front-end (clients making online transactions from their home PCs), security servers and banking database servers. This switch was designed to ease the overhead that the management faced in handling complex online transactions of their customers. This switch kept track of all the company customer-bank triangular interaction.

•Lead a team of six to develop and implement the Transaction Monitoring system.

•Design the Transaction Monitoring system using UML as a part of the Satyam Infoways team.

•Develop a demo version of the software to solicit and incorporate feedback into the design

•Design and implemented Switch Tree Structure.

•Design and implement the communication module(Unix socket and multithreading

mechanism for concurrent processing ) and House Keeping process.

•Design and implement the message system for SCAM (A Java based tool for control and monitoring).

•Design database tables and cod the Pro*C DLLs to be called in C++ source code.

Problem Tracking System

This is a java web-based helpdesk application. This application helps to set up virtual support teams. This software has features such as creating tickets, monitoring the status of tickets and routing the tickets to the appropriate support group who can resolve the issue. This system also allows an escalation to higher hierarchy if the problem has not been resolved in a stipulated time frame.

•Design the system in collaboration with the Satyam Infoways team.

Electronic Funds Transfer System

Clients: ARAB Bangladesh Bank, Industrial and Development Bank (Vietnam), Bank of Baroda, Bank of Kuwait.

This is a customer delivery channel transaction switch designed to handle large volume of online financial transactions from one/many source(s) (ATM, POS, KIOSK devices) to one or many destination(s) (International Interchanges such as VISA/Master Card etc).

•Study the Customer Delivery Channel Transaction Switch Specification.

•Identify test cases, creating and reviewing test cases in Program Checklists (PCLs) for the product.

•Customize the system to cater to each of the clients need.

•Implement the system for the Bank of Baroda client.

•This was a team effort. My team was handling 3000 test cases, test programs and test results. This went well and was evident when the Team was awarded for timely delivery and excellent quality of the deliverables

Message Translation System

Client: IBM (India) and Bank National De Paris ASIA

This software enables communication between two entities that understand two different protocols. Bank National De Paris had a switch that understood only VISA ISO 8583 message format and their IBM back-end servers had a switch that understood only IBM Atlas message format. The message translator enabled the communication between the two systems. The Message translation Support involves transitioning the system knowledge to the support group, and handling production Support and Second Level Support for a period of 3 months.

•Design one of the components using UML for the translation system.

•Design a multi-router process.

•Unix scripting, Socket/network programming

•Unit and Integration Testing.

•Troubleshooting the production problems and resolution in stipulated time period.

Citibank wanted a web based tool for its online customers to view the transaction history. This tool would provide transaction history for the past 90 days.
