LOUGHBOROUGH STREET FAIR IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Wednesday 11th – Saturday 14th November 2015
Loughborough Street Fair will officially open at 6.00pm on Wednesday 11th November and will close at 11.00pm on Saturday 14th November.
The installation of the Fair will start once the roads are officiallyclosed at 4.00am on Wednesday 11th November.
Prior to the road closures at Browns Lane/Forest Road, Swan Street/Derby Square & High Street/Baxter Gate, prohibition of parking orders will become operative at 5.00pm on Tuesday 10th November(includes Bedford Square & Wards End Car Parks) to prevent unauthorised parking which could adversely affect the Fair vehicles entering the Town Centre and build up of fairground equipment.
All details of the closed roads and diversion maps including alternative HGV routescan be found on and the prohibition of parking orders will be displayed in the usual manner on all streets affected.
When the Fair is not in operation limited access to services and premises,(within the parameters of the fair) will be possible and permissible for deliveries as follows:-
NO DELIVERIES ON WEDNESDAY (when the rides pull onto the site)
DELIVERIES CAN ONLY BE MADE ON THURSDAY, FRIDAY & SATURDAY BETWEEN:00.01AM TO 10.00AM EACH DAY.
Fair opening times are as follow:
Wednesday 11th November 6.00pm to 11.00pm
Thursday 12th November12.00 noon to 11.00pm
Friday 13th November 11.00am to 11.00pm
Saturday 14th November 11.00am to 11.00pm
Street furniture removals including: Cycle Racks (there will be some cycle racks available in Granby Street Car Park, Baxter Gate, The Rushes, Ashby Square & Woodgate),benches, litter bins, information signs etc will be removed from fairground areas commencingFriday 8thNovember and will be reinstated soon after the closure of the fair.
Car Parking affected:The rear ofGranby Street car park will be closed from 5.00pm on Monday 9thNovember with full closure from7.00pm on Monday 9th November until approximately 12noon Sunday 15th November. Bedford Square & Wards End Car Parks will be closed from 5.00pm on Tuesday 10th November until the fair vacates on Sunday 15th November.
Markets affected: There will be noretail markets on Thursday12th November and Saturday 14th November, orVintageMarket on Friday, 13th November.The Farmers Marketdate been altered and will be taking place on Wednesday 18th November 2015

Taxis and taxi ranks affected
The taxi rank in Granby Street will close from 7.00pm on Tuesday10th November until the Fair vacates. There will be a temporary rank in Granby Street opposite the street junction with Packe Street near the entrance to Queen's Park from 6.00pm Wednesday 11th November until Saturday 14th November.
Stewarding Arrangements
Official Stewards will be on duty during all fairground operational hours and stationed in all areas of the fair to assist the public.
St Johns Ambulance & Lost Children
The St John Ambulance base in Packe Streetwill be available for the treatment of minor injuries and is also used as a base for lost children. In addition there will be a St Johns mobile unit sited in Biggin Street.
