•Congratulations to the MSM Fine Arts Department for the wonderful evening of celebrating our talented ROCKETS in the areas of dance, music, drama, and art. Those students are truly blessed with so many talents, and it is wonderful to see them excited to perform for their school community!
•Our MSM Vocal Ensemble placed 1st in the Regional competition last week, and they now advance to STATE! Congratulations to the following vocalists:
oLesliAberle (9th grade) – 1st Place – Soprano Solo
oInai Duenas (10th grade) – 1st Place – Soprano Solo
oMaddie Gallavan (9th grade) – 2nd Place – Soprano Solo
oMica Martinez (12th grade) – 1st Place – Soprano Solo
oMary Sanders (10th grade) – 1st Place – Mezzo Soprano Solo
oCalliope Staudt (9th grade) – 1st Place – Mezzo Soprano Solo
oHannah Staudt (11th grade) – 1st Place – Soprano Solo
•The ROCKET Swim Team ended its incredible season this past Saturday at the STATE Swim Meet at Jenks High School. Sunday evening they held their end-of-year banquet and honored the entire team! Below are the awards handed out by the coaches:
oTony Owens (9th grade) – “Newcomer of the Year”
oDat Cao (10th grade) – “Hustle Award”
oAbbie Hawley (10th grade) – “Most Improved”
oCaden Hawley (12th grade) – “Most Valuable Swimmer”
•Check out the KFOR video on their website as well as the MSM website announcing Mount Senior Julia Ciocca as High School Athlete of the Week! Congratulations!
•The deadline for applying (completing the FACTS Grant and Aid on-line application form) for Work Grant is March 1st. Students who have not yet received their acceptance letters have until 3/15/16 to apply for Work Grant. All students applying for Work Grant should turn their “green” 2016-2017 Work Grant Session Applications in as soon as possible. Work Grant work sessions will be scheduled using these “green” sheets in the order they were turned in to the school’s Business Office.
•We have an enrollment make-up date on Tuesday, March 1st, starting at 8:00 a.m. in the Mercy Meeting Room for those current 9th and 10th grade students that did not enroll last week. Please have the completed enrollment packet, including the signed tuition contract and registration fee. If you have any questions, please contact Mrs. McGugan in the main office.
•Our Peer Ministry Youth Team has created “Lenten Prayer Opportunities” for our Mount community. Please know we would enjoy our parents and families to join us.

•On behalf of the entire Mount Community, I would like to extend a THANK YOU to the young ladies and our coaches of our ROCKET Ladies’ Basketball Team. Yesterday, after a hard-fought game, they ended their season, and we, The Mount, are grateful for their dedication to ROCKET PRIDE. Those girls have played EVERY game with heart and with love for their school and for one another, and all of us proudly and loudly have cheered them on each and every game!
