Lola Florene Warren Harrison Barrett, Kansas City, MO. She was born on April 30, 1925 at Eminence, MO and went to be with the Lord on September 13, 1997. Lola was the seventh of twelve children born to Jess Warren and Raussie Wood Warren, both of whom preceded her in death. One sister, Ruth, brothers Clayton Warren, Dee Warren, James Warren, Dolphus Warren and Deroyn Warren also preceded her in death. She is survived by her husband, Glenn Barrett, of the home, daughter & son in law, Linda & Larry McAdams, West Plains, MO; Sons & daughters in law, James & Linda Harrison, Humphrey, AR; Jerry & Patsy Harrison, Haskell, AR; Michael & Janice Harrison, Peculiar, MO; George & Marcia Barrett, Blue Springs, MO; Steven & Gail Barrett, Kansas City, MO; Step sons & daughters in law, Gerald & Shirley Barrett, Mountain View, MO; Jim & Joyce Barrett, Winona, MO; Glen, Jr. & Arlene Barrett, Lunenburg, MA; Step daughter & son in law, Sherian & Nicholas Appuglies, San Jose, CA. Fifteen grandchildren, ten step grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, eighteen step great grandchildren, one step great, great grandchild. She is also survived by brothers & sisters in law, Carmel & Thelma Warren, Bennett, CO; Joe & Juanita Warren, LaBarge, WY; Bill & Ona Fern Warren, Springfield, MO; sisters, Sadia Thomas, St. Louis, MO; Lavada Odom of Granite City, IL; sisters in law, Lorene Warren, Springfield, MO; Gloria Warren, Laramie, WY; Betty Warren, Camas, WA; Beacie & her husband, Pete Copeland, West Plains, MO; an uncle, a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives. Mrs. Barrett taught at the Horner School in rural Shannon County in 1943 to 1945. She also worked at the Television factory, Eminence, MO; Paramount Cap Factory, Winona, MO; Sherrill's Crystals, Kansas City, MO; and Parmalee, Kansas City, MO. Mrs. Barrett was an active member of Bales Baptist Church. She leaves behind many friends and neighbors. She is most remembered for always helping someone in need, whether it be cookies for the church, taking a neighbor to the doctor or just listening to others problems. She gave much love and was loved very much in return.
