LINDSAY LANE BASKETBALL
The tentative 18-19 schedule will be on the website in April. We will host separate elementary camps and a middle school camp June 25-28to provide help to anyone wanting to get serious about basketball.
There are other competition dates, but I think these would work the best. MS dates are: 5/29&31 at Brewer HS; 6/12&14 at Hartselle MS; 6/19 at West Morgan; and 6/20 at Falkville.
VB dates are: 5/30 at Brewer; 6/14 at JPII or Winston Co.; 6/15 at Falkville; 6/18 at JPII; 6/20 at Ardmore; 6/21 at JPII or Winston Co.; and 6/22 at Whitesburg. We would not use all of those dates, but would like to play on 3-5 dates.
The AHSAA allows four weeks for competition with other schools and competitive camps. There is no limit to optional coach led development sessions so we want to offeropen gyms throughout the summer. I will communicate times through the team remind text.
Lee University in Cleveland, TN camp will be June 4-7. The cost for the camp is $315 and includes lodging, transportation, and food while at the camp. A $75 deposit is due at LLCA by April 15th. Cost goes up $25 each if we don’t send in by that date. We leave at 8:00a.m. on Monday the 4th,stop for lunch, and start games at 1:00. We will have dinner and play games at the camp that night. We will return on Thursday around 8:00p.m.
Players will need bed linens, pillow, towels, athletic gear, lots of socks, toiletries, warm-ups, and snack money for concessions.
