GENERAL ANNOUNCEMENTS

CLEAN CAMPUS: Red flag!

STUDENT ID ENFORCEMENT: The Student Service Center is now set up and ready to print replacement ID's,ID's for all new students and students who missed make-up day. Students may come to the Student Service Center Tuesday though Friday during lunch and after school. ID enforcement will be in effect starting Monday, September 26th.

PARKING OF BIKES ON CAMPUS: Bikes are only allowed to be parked in the bike area near the gym during school hours.

ASB PUNCH SALES: There is still time to buy your ASB punch. It’s only $55 (cash only) and saves you money on admission to dances, rallies and sporting events, plus you get a free spirit t-shirt. This year you get in free to all home sporting events with an ASB punch (except playoffs). Stop by the Activities office during lunch. Spirit/class t-shirts are also on sale during lunch for $10.

SHOW YOUR SPIRIT: FRIDAYS are designated Lincoln-wear days! Wear your class shirts, Lincoln shirts, or just red, gray, or black every Friday to show your spirit!!

LIBRARY: The library is now open from 7:00am – 4:30pm Monday through Friday! Stop by and check out our new books!

PSAT ONLINE PREP: The open computer lab dates for the Kaplan test prep for PSAT being offered at LHS have been canceled due to low enrollment. It may still be accessed from an outside computer. Please go to kaptest.com/PSATpreplive for more info.

AIR FORCE PERFORMANCE LAB TRAILER: Attention Students! There will be an Air Force Performance Lab Trailer set up in the back of the Gym (Basketball area) during lunch on Wednesday. The Air Force Performance Lab is the newest asset in the mobile fleet and features a futuristic experience full of challenges and self-discovery, all wrapped in innovative technology. Please stop by during lunch and check it out.

COLLEGES VISITING LHS: UC Santa Barbara will be at Lincoln High School on Friday, September 30th at 3:30 pm in Room 1113. The following week, St. Mary's will be on campus on Wednesday, during 2nd period and University of Nevada, Las Vegas on Thursday during 2nd period. If interested, please stop by the EPC.

REFLECTIONS ART CONTEST: Calling all writers, composers, dancers and artists. LHS PTSA is proudly sponsoring the 2016 Reflections Art Contest. This year's theme is "What is your Story..." There are 6 mediums for artists to submit artwork: Photography, visual arts, literature, musical composition, dance choreography, film production. This year's winner will be flown to Virginia to showcase their entry. Lincoln High School is proud to have several state winners - this year it could be you! Applications and rules are available in the student services center on campus. For more information or ideas, you can go tocapita.org. All finished entries can be submitted to the Student Services Center byOct. 7.

CLUB EVENTS & HAPPENINGS

FILIPINO CLUB: There is a Filipino Club meeting today and every‪Tuesday at lunchin Mr. Garcia's room, 1505. There is also practice 2PM-4PM everyday outside the Staff Lounge to prepare for UOP's Kilusan High School Picnic.

SEE YOU AT THE POLE: Wednesday, September 28 is National "See You at the Pole" day. Students and staff across the nation will be gathering at their school's flagpole before school to pray for their school. We will have two gatherings at Lincoln, one before first period, and again before second period.

FCA CLUB: FCA will be having it's first club meeting of the year this Wednesday, September 28 at lunch in coach Greeno's room, room 1506. FCA stands for Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and all students and staff are welcome to attend. There will be free pizza for everyone, along with some fun games, and Christian fellowship. Bring a friend and see you there for FCA!

SCIENCE OLYMPIAD: There is a Science Olympiad meeting on Thursday, September 29 from 3:10 to 4:30 in room 1519.

DRAMA: Lincoln Drama Club is pleased to announce it’s first play of the year, Arthur Miller’s classic “The Crucible”. The play is open to all Lincoln High students, not just drama students. There will be a pre-audition meeting Tuesday, September 27th in room 1204 at lunch. If you are thinking of auditioning, you must attend the meeting on Tuesday to get all the information and paperwork in order to audition. Be brave and consider auditioning.

PINK LADIES: Pink Ladies will be holding a meeting at lunch on Wednesday, September 28 in room 1332. Please come out and see what our club is about. We will be discussing our plans for the year and homecoming.

FASHION CLUB: They will be meeting in room 1104 on Thursday, September 29th at the beginning of LUNCH—come to the meeting FIRST for a short meeting and then get lunch!

DRILL CLUB: Drill Team is now at LHS! Come to our club meeting this Friday at lunch in room 1511.
