Subject: RE: Notes from PMIWG Data Group meeting today

Hi all,

Here are my notes from our meeting today. Please have a look and let me know if these look correct and whether I missed anything.

PMIWG Data Group 2016 Next Steps

●Data group previously agreed to review data and report on any issues (e.g. Michael was not sure 2013 Minnesota data was correct). Michael, Jane and Jenni report that data looks OK.

●Data group reviewed Alpha version of site and had some feedback:

○Jane experiencing caching issue, but thinks that we should not hold up going live.

○Jenni will forward list of minor UI issues.

○Add back buttons to reports to allow them to get back to screen to select report and back to start.

○Update "Federally eligible population" to "income eligible"

○Asked that once we are ready to go live, Mark will send URL to Susan.

●Once above changes completed, change menu item to go live with updated version of site.

●Mark will work on moving report definitions into database

○Allow for creation of screens to create/edit reports (no longer a Web developer task)

○Search function. Data Group needs to brainstorm keywords to associate with reports. Mark will send a document of category, report, tooltip. Leon will send the group keywords previously developed.

○Users can save reports

○Will make it easier to add performance measures reports

●Making data public. Goal is for HHS to have Reports to Congress published by end of calendar year. Mark can update data warehouse once data reported.

●Link to self-assessment tool. Align search terms and also overall concepts/taxonomy? Apprise group discussed at Monday meeting. Tabled until self-assessment tool live.

●Discuss at January PMIWG meeting – offering a tool to allow states to voluntarily report lower level detail data to allow drill down analysis (sub-grantee or census tract level.

●Jane, Jenni and Mike will talk about changed date time to better accommodate everyone's schedule.

Thanks,

Mark
