Job related knowledge/aptitude/skills
Knowledge:
  1. Understanding commissioning processes and performance management functions in NHS and Social Care.
  1. Knowledge of current policy issues relevant to an inner-city Social Services Department and to the health and social care interface.
  1. Thorough understanding of issues relating to the development of policies and services for carers.
  2. Understanding of planning and decision making processes in statutory authorities.
  3. Some knowledge of research and evaluation methodology.

  4. Experience of holding and monitoring budgets.
