ThisPrecinctisdistinctiveduetoitstownshipcharactercreatedbythe lowscalearchitecturalstylesandmixedbuildingmaterials.Thebuildings frequentlyhavelowpitchedorflatroofswhichemphasisestheirlowscale nature,andthegenerallackoffrontfencingaddstoanopenstreetscape. Thebuildingsaresetwithinestablishedgardens.Thetownshipcharacter oftheareacouldbestrenghtenedbyencouragingtheplantingofindigenous andnativespecies.
