·  24 million American are affected by eating disorders, and college students are particularly at risk for unhealthy eating and weight managmeent behaviors. This program is a part of Eating Disorder Awareness week on campus and features the documentary "Someday Melissa" that chronicles the life and death of 19-year old Melissa from Bulimia. The documentary will be followed by a panel discussion of student volunteers and mental health and medical professionals working with body image and eating disorder concerns

·  Concurrent with the wrapping-up of Black History Month; cultural understanding is increasingly more relevant within our growing multicultural society. Join us as we explore the differences of cultural humility and cultural competence. And come learn about some of the diverse perspectives of different identity groups that may can help our abilities to be a better leader and ally on campus and in our communities.
