-By September 13, 2016-Measurement stations for estimating and measuring weight/mass using metric and U.S. customary units will be created and incorporated into instruction.

At the end of each unit assessment and on district benchmark assessments, at least 80% of third graders will be able to demonstrate proficiency with estimating and using U.S. customary and metric units to measure length, liquid volume, weight/mass, area, and perimeter.

Example 2:
-Many students enrolled in art classes at our school have never been exposed to experiencing one of the oldest forms of art, egg tempera. / Example 2:
-Teach a core group of art students interested in creating egg tempera paintings the process for mixing their own egg medium, to mixing dry pigment with medium, to the painting process. / Example 2:
-By September 2, 2016-Begin teaching the core group of art students the techniques for egg tempera painting.
-By November 15, 2016-All art students in core group will have at least one completed egg tempera painting.
-By February 22, 2017-All students in core group will have at least two completed egg tempera paintings.
-By April 11, 2017-All art students in core group will have at least three completed egg tempera paintings for display throughout the community. / Example 2:
-By November 15, 2016-All art students in core group will have at least one completed egg tempera painting.
-By February 22, 2017-All students in core group will have at least two completed egg tempera paintings with each student achieving a rubric score of 3 out of 4 and/or improving at least one rubric level from previous painting.
