LANDMARK MISSION REPORT: JULY, 2016

OUR MISSIONARY FAMILIES

by Melrose Clarke, Missions Secretary

EVANGELISM ALIVEfounders Ramos and Carol Babilonia are our featured missionaries for this month. They are blessed in their ministries both here in the US and in Colombia as well as in their occasional missionary trips to the hills of Panama. The Babilonias have started over 200 churches in Colombia, South America. They sponsor a Children’s Home in Pereira, Colombia and several other Children’s Homes and Orphanages, radio stations, Conferences and Training for ministers in Colombia, South America. Pastor Jeanette’s cousin Lance Campbell is on their board and takes frequent trips with them. They have now started another branch of Evangelism Alive in Equatorial Guinea, Africa.

In April 2016, the Babilonias went to Bogota, South America with their friend Tina Jones. During this trip, a theater that had been dedicated to satan was transformed into a church, the Casa de Amor. Tina and Carol were invited to speak and minister to 215 women at The Fire Conference in the Andes Mountains. The last day of the conference 40 ladies were baptized in the swimming pool after a week of demonstrating the love of God with many hugs and blessings. Some of the ladies had never had a hug before and were so moved by the love of God.

Meantime Ramon was asked to minister in the new church building (the theatre in downtown Bogota). He later did a 3-hour radio program where women called in asking questions and giving testimonies of the healings and movement of God at the Conference. Last year the Babilonias helped the indigenous pastors under their guidance build and grow 22 new churches, with one particular church growing to 1,500 after only a few months.

They are also thankful yet concerned about their daughter Bonnie and her husband Jan and two children who work in Mozambique, Africa. Jan and Bonnie have made a breakthrough with the Yao tribe, and the leader Imam of the Mosque. But there is war currently in Mozambique and Christians are being persecuted and murdered by radical Muslims and many missionaries have left in fear for their lives. The Babilonias ask for continuous prayers for the safety and God given discernment and direction in all that Jan and Bonnie do. We ask that our members and the Prayer Team be in constant prayer for these our missionaries.

We Support our Missionary Couples with our prayers and Finances.

PLEASE KEEP THEM IN YOUR PRAYERS.
