I translated the text through Google (it's Spanish) & then went line for line and changed the knitting terms so they would make 'knitting' sense. In the video, she knits the Combined Continental method. She wraps the yarn clockwise to purl & does her knit sts through the back loops. The pattern looks the same in the end whether you do Continental or American. I knit with the yarn in my right hand (American method).
Here is my version of the pattern. I did work the instructions two times (12 rows) & also checked the instructions against what was in the video again. I wrote them as precisely as possible & could have abbreviated parts of it; but I would rather give too much information than not enough.
Sometimes it's hard to see your own mistakes & may take another person to catch them. Please let me know if you find an error or have trouble following the instructions.
FANTASY GARLANDS (WREATHS)
Multiple of 8 + 2 + 2 edge sts
Yarn: your choice
Needles: ONE SIZE SMALLER needle than size recommended on the yarn label.
Pattern is not reversible & looks best knit a bit tightly.
Note: A CO of 20 stitches was used in the video (two repeats across)
Set up Row: Purl ALL stitches across (RS)
Row 1 (WS): K1 (edge st) * K2, YO, P6, YO * (one repeat completed) Repeat from * to * to end of row. End with K2, K1 (edge).
Row 2: K1 (edge) * P2, YO, K8, YO * Repeat from * to * to end of row. End with P2, K1 (edge).
Row 3: K1 (edge) * K2, YO, P10, YO * Repeat from * to * to end of row. End with K2, K1 (edge).
Row 4: Purl ALL stitches across.
Row 5: K1 (edge), *K2, Knit next 12 stitches wrapping yarn around RH needle 3 times to complete each knit stitch * Repeat from * to * to end of row. End with K2, K1 (edge).
Row 6: K1 (edge) * P2, [Slip next 2 sts purlwise, dropping extra wraps. Transfer these 2 slipped sts to LH needle, then K2tog (long slipped sts)] repeat from [ to ]6 times. * Repeat from * to * to end of row. End with P2, K1 (edge)
Repeat these 6 rows until desired length. BO.
