Chaplain of the Year Award
Purpose: To recognize a local council chaplain for support of his Knight of Columbus council and for his emulation of the role model of our founder Fr. Michael J. McGivney.

Introduction: Your pastor is the ultimate multi-tasker. He is administrator, confidant, social-worker, psychologist, teacher, and most importantly shepherd. His role as chaplain is significant in so far as it strengthens the character of the council and its members and provides a spiritual focus for its many activities. His guidance needs to be taken seriously, and there needs to be an excellent relationship between the chaplain and the Grand Knight.
The State Council feels it is imperative that we recognize these men of God for their selflessness, their charity and their active participation in the Knights of Columbus.
The responses to the following questions will assist us in our efforts in choosing a Chaplain of the Year:
