We’re looking for a Junior Finance Assistant to support the work of the Brand Addition Finance team, undertaking a wide range of accounting and administration tasks. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to start a career in Finance, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to be involved in most aspects of the Finance team’s work and full training will be provided along the way.
Your primary responsibilities will include (but not limited to) the daily upload of bank statements, allocation of customer receipts, taking customer credit card payments and maintaining credit card suspense accounts, assisting purchase ledger and credit control when required, filing and scanning, raising credit notes, assistance with VAT returns & various other finance tasks etc.
Ideal candidates will have strong numeracy & IT skills as well as being confident and assertive with the ability to build rapport and effectively communicate with people at all levels, and you will be determined to go the extra mile to achieve results. Teamwork is essential in this role therefore you must be team orientated and able to maintain positive and supportive relationships with your colleagues at all times.
