Glenkens Show - 15th August, 2009

The entries at Glenkens show were back to normal, after many exhibitors had a year absent due to the National Show at Peebles. A very wet day awaited exhibitors and spectators and lorries where not permitted on the show field. Nan of Over Barskeoch, exhibited by M/s Wallace, Over Barskeoch took home the red, white and blue ticket, no stranger to the show ring she has already secured the silverware from Straiton and Wigtown shows this year. The reserve champion came from John and Ann Findlay, Blackcraig, Corsock, Castle Douglas, Blackcraig Noreen P260, this ???? daughter was reserve champion at the Royal Highland show.
