I had the unique opportunity to study anatomy first hand by dissecting actual medical cadavers. I studied at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis TN and at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. I have logged over 80 hours of lab time both observing and dissecting medical cadavers. There are few artists in the world that have had this opportunity. This opportunity gives me an upper hand and superior anatomicalknowledge. I pass along this knowledge in the classroom to help students better understand what they are drawing or painting.I find it gives them a key advantage over their peers, and helps them to progress faster with their drawing level.
