Speaker’s Profile
Mr K.Y. KWOK was awarded the Bachelor of Laws by the University of Hong Kong in 1984. He was admitted as a solicitor in Hong Kong in 1987, and has since then been in private practice up to now. He has also obtained two master degrees in law.
He is now a partner and the head of the litigation department of the local solicitors’ firm, Li, Kwok & Law (李郭羅律師行), a firm of 12 solicitors. He has been engaged in building management cases on a regular basis and for quite some years, whether as legal advisor or as solicitor or advocate in contentious matters. He has acted for a number of leading property management companies (including those who are developer-affiliated) and incorporated owners in Hong Kong.
He has been delivering law lectures on building management for a number of institutions, including professional organizations, statutory or public bodies and property managers as well as to fellow solicitors. He has also written some articles on the law and cases of building management.
