John B. Lilja Undergraduate Scholarship Award

The Minnesota Government Finance Officers Association annually awards undergraduate scholarships to one or more students majoring in accounting or government finance at a college or university located in the State of Minnesota.

The amount of each scholarship is $1,000.

If you are interested in applying for this scholarship, please complete the attached application. The form is also available on our website at www.MnGFOA.org , under the students tab. The deadline for submitting an application is April 15, 2016.

E)  Describe (in 250 words or less) why you are interested in governmental accounting and a possible career in this field.
