SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE:

Directlyresponsiblefortheoveralladministration,coordination, oversightandevaluation of thehuman resourcesfunction.Developspolicyanddirectsandcoordinateshumanresourcesactivities includingrecruitment,employment,compensation audits,benefits,traininganddevelopment andotheremployeeservices byperformingthefollowingdutiespersonallyorthrough subordinatestaff.

ESSENTIALFUNCTIONS:

Reasonableaccommodationsmaybemadetoenableindividualswithdisabilitiestoperform theessentialfunctions.

•Developsandadministersvarioushumanresourcesplansandproceduresfor employees.

•Plans,organizesandcontrolsall activitiesofthedepartment. Participatesindeveloping

Departmentalgoals,objectivesandsystemsinsupportoftheCompanymission.

•Reviewsanddevelopscompanycompensationprograminconcertwithsenior management. Rewritesjobdescriptionsasnecessary.Conductsannualsalarysurveys andmonitorstheperformanceevaluationprogram,ensuringbothadherenceand consistency.

•Develops,recommendsandimplementspersonnelpoliciesandprocedures;prepares andmaintainsemployeehandbookonpoliciesandprocedures; performsbenefit administration,includingclaimsresolution,changereporting,and annualreviewof policiesforcosteffectivenessinconsultationwithsenior management.

•Conductsrecruitmenteffortforexemptandnonexemptemployees;conductsnew employeeorientations;employeerelationscounseling,outplacementcounselingand exitinterviewing;writesandplacesadvertisementsrelatingtopositionpostingsand recruitment.

•Establishesandmaintainsdepartmentrecordsandreports. Participatesinstaffand managementmeetingsasrequired; maintainsandupdatesorganizationchartsand overallemployeedirectory.

•Administers, reviews and reconciles monthly benefit statements and assists in the preparation and filing of subsequent 5500 forms.

•Provides oversight and administration of 401(k) retirement plan, including monthly reconciliations, audit reviews while assisting with the preparation and filing of 5500 forms.

•Developsandconductstraininganddevelopmentprogramstoemployees,specifically forlegalcomplianceaswellasprofessionaldevelopmentforstaff.

•Preparesseparationnoticesandrelatedsupportingdocumentation.

•Preparesreportsandrecommendsprocedurestoreduceandminimizeabsenteeismand employee turnover.

•RepresentsCompanyatpersonnel-relatedhearingsandinvestigations.

•Preparesbudgetforhumanresourcesoperations.

•ProvidesoversighttoSafetyCommitteeandreviewsandinvestigatesaccidentsrelating totheworkenvironment.

•Keepsabreastofallfederal,Stateandlocalregulations,lawsandpoliciesasthey currentlyexistandastheychangeandaremodified.

•Performsotherdutiesasrequestedorassignedwithinthescopeoftheduties enumeratedabove.

Thispositionmaydirectlysuperviseone(1)employeeintheHumanResourcesDepartment; Carriesoutsupervisoryresponsibilitiesinaccordancewiththeorganization'spoliciesand applicablelaws.Responsibilitiesincludeinterviewing,hiring,andtrainingemployees;planning, assigninganddirectingwork;appraisingperformance;rewardinganddiscipliningemployees; addressingsafetyissues,complaintsandresolvingproblems.

WORKENVIRONMENT:

Thisjoboperatesinaprofessionalofficeenvironment.Thisroleroutinelyusesstandardoffice equipmentsuchascomputers, phones, photocopies,filingcabinetsandfaxmachines.

PHYSICALDEMANDS:

Thisislargelyasedentaryrolehowevertheemployeemayberequiredtosit;climborbalance; andstoop,kneel,crouchorcrawl. Theemployeemayneedtoliftand/ormoveupto10pounds andoccasionallyliftand/ormoveupto25pounds. Thisroleroutinelyusesstandardoffice equipmentsuchascomputers,phones,photocopies,filingcabinetsand faxmachines.

POSITIONTYPEEXPECTEDHOURSOFWORK:

Thisisafull-timeposition. DaysandhoursofworkareMondaythroughFriday,8:00a.m.to

5:00p.m.Eveningandweekendworkmayberequiredasjobdutiesdemand.

TRAVEL:

Travelbetweenvariousdealersitelocationsrequiredasdeemednecessary.

REQUIREDEDUCATIONANDEXPERIENCE:

•Bachelor'sdegreeinhumanresourcesmanagementorrelatedfield;minimumof five(5)

yearsofexperienceinaHRmanagementposition

•Experience inprovidingleadershipandstrategicdesigninsupport ofthestrategicplan ofan organization

•Hands-onexperienceinthetraininganddevelopmentofemployees

•Experience inallfacetsof theHumanResourcesdynamic

CERTIFCIATES,LICENSES,REGISTRATIONS:

•PHR/SPHRand/orCP/SCPcertification

•Validdriver'slicense

LANGUAGESKILLS:

Abilitytoread,analyzeandinterpretcommonlegaldocuments.
