Requirements
A.Experience and Qualifications
/ Essential / DesirableEducation to degree level in relevant subject or have a relevant qualification and experience related to the post /
A minimum of 1- 2 years experience of providing advice and support to clients in a community setting /
Experience of supporting adolescents who have been at risk of early sexualisation, sexual exploitation, coercive and abusive relationships. /
Experience of working within a multi-professional capacity /
A high level of written and verbal presentation skills and ICT skills, including the use of Word, Excel, Email and PowerPoint. /
Experience of facilitating group work and/or training programmes /
B.Knowledge
/ Essential / DesirableUnderstanding the needs of adolescents at risk of early sexualisation, sexual exploitation and coercive relationships /
Knowledge of risk assessments and safety planning within the context of domestic abuse and sexual exploitation /
A commitment to work in line with Choices Equality and Diversity Policy /
Knowledge and Understanding of the issues of an abusive relationship. /
Knowledge of legislation as it relates to the criminal or civil justice system in the context of domestic abuse and sexual exploitation /
Basic Counselling skills /
