Notes for Competitors

General Information

1)  Awards
Awards will be given to the top three placed individuals by class in the individual matches and to the winners in all team events.
2)  Visitors Firearms Permits
All visitors who wish to bring their pistols/ammunition to Jersey will require a Visitors Permit, this service is free. Competitors are asked to note that ALL AIR PISTOLS REQUIRE A PERMIT. Please return your permit applications to the event organizer or direct to Jersey Police.
3)  Equipment Control
Equipment Control will be open throughout the Meeting, all Pistols to be used in the ISSF Competitions must pass Equipment Control prior to being used.
4)  Squadding
Squadding positions will be done by draw; every endeavour will be made to squad individual competitors according to their requirements.
5)  Entry Fees
Competitors resident outside of the Sterling area may settle their entry fees on arrival at the event. All entry fees to be made in GBP.

7)  Proposed Schedule
Entrants will please note that following is only an indicative of the likely schedule. The final timings of the events will be advised to the competitors via a squadding sheet to be e-mailed to their e-mail address (provided above) on or before Sunday 11th September.

Event 1: America 900 Match / ·  30 shots at 50 yards, 10 minutes for each 10 shot string. PL6 Targets
·  30 shots at 25 yards, 20 seconds for each 5 shot string. PL6 Targets
·  30 shots at 25 yards, 10 seconds for each 5 shot string. PL6 Targets
·  Sighters: 10 at 50 yards in 10 minutes, 5 at 25 yards in 20 seconds.
Event 2: Slowfire Aggregate / ·  Aggregate of Events 3 and 4
Event 3: 20yd Slowfire Aggregate / ·  50 shots at 20 yards, 10 minutes for each 10 shot string. PL15 Targets
·  Sighters: 10 at 20 yards in 10 minutes, 10 at 20 yards in 10 minutes.
Event 4: 50yd Slowfire Aggregate / ·  50 shots at 50 yards, 10 minutes for each 10 shot string. PL6 Targets
·  Sighters: 10 at 50 yards in 10 minutes, 10 at 20 yards in 10 minutes.
Events 5 through 12 / All these matches will be fired in accordance with ISSF Regulations, except that:
·  All final positions will be decided by Tie Shoots or Count back as laid down in ISSF Special Technical Rules regarding Pistol Matches.
·  Any Tie Shoots will be held on Sunday 4th July 2004.
·  Free Pistol: One sighting card, unlimited shots in 18 minutes. Six Match cards, 10 shots per target, 17 minutes per target.
Events 13 through 15 / ·  Will be run to British NPA rules.
Event 16: NRA 1500 PPC: / ·  The 1500 will be run to NRA of America /WA 1500 Association Rules.
Events 17 through 19 / ·  Run under MLAIC rules, 10 shots from 13 in 30 minutes at 25m, 50% over the line to count high. To be shot self-squadded, stickers to be attached to cards.
