The meeting time for all tests is 9am; all competitors are required to be on the ground at the meeting time. The test will be deemed to have begun at 9:15am. Anyone arriving after that time may be excluded from the competition.
Awards will be presented at the end of the day. Any competitor wishing to leave the ground before the awards should please ask the Chief Steward or a club representative.
The club hopes to have the facility available to enter working tests online and pay via PayPal very soon. Until this is available all entries must be pre-paid and submitted on an official Kennel Club entry form.

Directions to events
Test 1 / AllensfordFrom The North: Head south on A68 from Riding Mill/A69 junction towards Darlington. After approx 8 miles see entrance to Derwent Manor Hotel on left. Test entrance is a further 100 yards on the right.
From the South: Head North on A68 from Darlington, go through Castleside on A68 down a steep hill and over the bridge at the bottom. Test entrance is second gate on left.

Test 2 / Causey Park
Travel North on the A1, passed the junction of the A697 for approx 3-4 miles follow the signs left onto a farmyard (Signposted Fieldhead/Causey Park) then follow signs from there.
Postcode of farm is NE61 3EP
Test 3 / Allenheads
The test will take place along the road between Rookhope and Allenheads. Travelling on the A689 at Eastgate take the turn to Rookhope and then continue to Allenheads.
From the North come through Allendale Town and on to Allenheads then follow the signs to Rookhope. It’s also possible to travel from the A68 to Blanchland and on to Rookhope.

Test 4 / Muggleswick
From the A68 on Front Street Castleside, at the crossroads take the turning to Stanhope. Follow Healeyfield Lane for approx. 2.5 miles, you will cross a cattle grid. The road climbs, take a right turn just before the water works at the top. Follow this road to the end and turn left at the T junction.
From Stanhope follow the B6278 (next to the Grey Bull pub) until you reach a turning for Castleside on the right. Follow this road until you see the waterworks on the leftand a junction just past them, bear left. Follow this road to the top and turn left at the T junction

Test 5 / Wemmergill
The test ground lies on the B6276 between Middleton in Teasdale and Brough. Approx 6 miles coming from Middleton is a tubular gate on the right. Follow the track (keeping to the right) up to the quarry. The postcode of the nearest farm (on the Brough side) is DL12 0PB – gate is just past the farm on the left coming from that direction.

Welfare of Dogs
A competitor whose dog is entered at a Kennel Club licensed event should take all reasonable steps to ensure the needs of their dog(s) are met, and should not knowingly put their dogs’ health and welfare at risk by any action, default, omission or otherwise. A breach of this Regulation may be referred to the General Committee for disciplinary action under the Kennel Club Rules and Regulations
Dogs in cars on hot days
Your dog is vulnerable and AT RISK if left in a vehicle in high temperatures and even on days considered slightly warm. Please take care of your dog.
If your dog is found to be at risk forcible entry to your vehicle may be necessary without liability for any damage caused.
