This weekend we give thanks for the ministry we have shared with Todd Milner. We pray that God’s richest blessings will accompany Todd & Dawn as Todd follows God’s call into pastoral ministry. Thank you for these two years with Zoar!
PRAYER PARTNERS INVITE YOU TO PRAY
Each week the Prayer Partners invite you to pray with us for a specific concern. This month’s special offering goes to the Pastor’s Discretionary Fund, for use when there is a crisis situation. Please pray for those who live life on the edge. Pray for those for whom any unexpected expense might mean that they would not have food, or would not be able to pay the utility bills. Pray that they would indeed find the resources to get them through. Pray that we would have generous hearts in contributing to those resources.
ZOAR MEN’S GOLF
Join us at Carrington Golf Course in Monroe, MI, on Thursday, August 4th. We will leave Zoar at 8:30 a.m., with a T-time of 9:30 a.m. We play a different course each week and make up foursomes before we leave the parking lot. We don’t keep track of scores and all levels of play are welcome. Bring a friend or neighbor and join us for fun and fellowship. If you have questions, please contact

LIGHTHOUSE KEEPERS
We are a support group for those who have a loved one with mental illness. Our next meeting is on Wednesday, August 24, at 7:00 p.m. If you have questions, contact Ilze Hammersley at 419-874-7201.
BOWLERS
We start Sunday, August 28, at 1:00 p.m. at Rossford Bowling Lanes, bowling every other Sunday. Warm bodies are all we are looking for, some talent, if you have it. CSI (Christian Seniors Interacting)
We will meet at Abundant Life #2 on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of each month from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. The schedule for our next meeting on August 9th is: Bible Study with Pastor Chuck Campbell, lunch by Elizabeth Scott, program-George Kalbous, Pianist. SEMINAR ON DRUG ADDICTION
Lutheran Village at Wolf Creek will host a free seminar on drug addiction at Wolf Creek on Thursday, August 4, at 1:00 pm. in the Chapel. Rod Farnsworth, Chair of the Alliance of Informed citizens of Northwest Ohio, along with a local sheriff and a recovering addict will present the program.
