To all parents of 7th graders:
On Tuesday, April 18th and Wednesday, April 19th the 7th graders will be going to a related arts orientation. They will receive detailed information outlining the related arts options available to them for next year. Parents and Guardians are welcome to attend this orientation.

The required registration form will be given to the students on the day of the orientation. Registration forms need to be returned by Friday, April 21st to the student’s homeroom teacher.
On Wednesday, April 26th the students will enter their requests on-line with the help of the guidance counselors. Please call the office with any questions at 262-268-6100.
Thank you to all of you who have already registered your child(ren) for Summer School. To those of you who haven’t; please note that Priority Registration ends on Tuesday, April 18th at 4:00pm. Power School access will close at that time. This is two days after students return from Spring Break so please take a few minutes and register your child now. You can use this link:
Complete Step 1 (Registering) by clicking on the Power School icon and sign in using the 5 digit numerical USER NAME and PASSWORD you were mailed the week of March 6th.
Complete Step 2 by clicking on the Leaving School Grounds Form (electronically submitting).
Steps 3 and 4 only need to be submitted if they are applicable (specific scheduling needs or your child needs bus transportation).
I encourage you to register now, in case you should have any questions due to the school being closed the week of Spring Break. Thank You!

The Kindness Adventure Buswill deliver the donations on the afternoon of early release day, April 25th. Any students interested in joining us in this adventure should pick up a permission slip in the office or Counseling Corner. Space is limited. Please see Mrs. Michel if you have any questions.
Students and Staff: 2017 Earth Day Film Festival Nature Photography Segment
Anyone interested in submitting original Nature photography for the Earth Day Film Festival should submit their pictures to . Only submit pictures that you have taken yourself. Please include your first and last name, your age and grade, and where the picture was taken. Photos can include nature, animals, and anything that portrays Earth Day and/or Environmentally friendly concepts.
Sticker Design Contest: 2017 Earth Day Film Festival Sticker
Anyone interested in designing this year's Earth Day Film Festival Sticker, please submit designs to Ms. Nirode.Templates of the sticker shape and size will be available outside Rm. 417.
Designs should portray a positive Environmental Awareness Message. This year’s themes: Any Earth Day subject studied in class, Environmental Awareness, Earth Day, Environmental Stewardship, Community, Port Washington, the Port Washington Lighthouse, and Water Safety. If you choose water safety, please include information on how to “Break the Grip of the Rip.”
Calling all runners and walkers!
It’s time for the 4th Annual Jaguar Jam Color Run/Walk on May 13th! Once again, our course will wind through the streets of Port Washington where you will have the chance to be showered with a rainbow of color as you run or walk. The highlight of the race will be our finish line, where you will be rewarded for your 5K with a wall of foam!Join us for this exciting event which will help raise money for a new digital sign at TJ.
Register at (search for “Jaguar Jam”) or pick up a registration form in the office. Register by April 28th to ensure you receive a race t-shirt. As an added incentive, the first 100 registrants will receive an American Family water bottle, sponsored by the Laura Burke Agency. You won’t want to miss this exciting event! 6th-8th grade Band and Choir Students
Blue Man Group Permission slips can be picked up in the TJMS office today! There are 100 student tickets available as a first come first serve basis and 10 adult chaperone spaces available as well. Please read the permission slip and follow the procedures listed to ensure your spot! Century Resources fundraising money can be applied towards this trip.
