Assumed charge as DGM (Quality) at Helicopter Design Bureau and LCA (Design Complex) and served 10 years. Leader of Indian National team for QA of Composite Wing manufacturing of LCA. ISO 9000 certified auditor, then.
5½ years as Principal of HAL Corporate training center viz., HAL Management Academy. And qualified Trainer of Neuro Linguistic Programming by NFNLP (USA). Pioneered NLP training in HAL.
Was General Manager (P&A) of HAL, Corporate for one year.
From February 2004 as General Manager (Lean) at HAL Corporate Office. Trained in Gemba Kaizen at USA & Israel. Responsible for company wide implementation of Lean mfg. tools and methodologies, and assisted Director- HR and Lean consultants. Expertise in 5S, Value stream mapping, PDM, Lean tools and conducting week long Kaizen improvement events.
Designed & imparted Lean training for executives and employees.
