INVESTITURE CEREMONY

Leadership is unlocking people’s potential to become better. This ideal of leadership is something we truly believe in atBosco Public Schoolwhich organized its Investiture Ceremony on the 28thof July, 2016 to initiate its promising young leaders, who epitomize the best in student qualities that our school has to offer, into the realm of student leadership.

The occasion was graced by the presence of theChief Guestfor the day, Dr. Gurpreet Singh Tuteja, andthe charismaticManagerof the Bosco Public School,Mr. Rajiv Duggal.

Prateek Lakra and Navya Bansal were appointed as the Head Boy and Head Girl of Senior Student Council. Arjun Gupta and Aanya were entrusted with the responsibilities of Junior Student Council. House Captains of all the four houses were also appointed along with the other members of Student Council.

Principal Ms. Sujata Massey Chawdhry,administered the oath to the badge bearers who vowed to work for the honor and glory of the school and the nation.Chairperson of the school Dr. Gurpreet Singh Tuteja,congratulated the newly elected members of the Students’ Council and reminded them that the most important quality of leadership is integrity towards their duties.Manager Mr. Rajiv Duggaladvised the young leaders, “Act in a moral light, obey the rules and fulfill your commitments as leadership calls for character, integrity, honesty and the determination to do what is right.”PrincipalMs. Sujata Massey Chawdhrymotivated them to turn their dreams and vision into reality and reminded them that although leadership bestows on them power, position and privilege, it also entails duties and responsibilities. She expressed the hope that they would use this wonderful opportunity as a platform to exemplify high ethical standards across the world and take India to new heights as they are our greatest national asset.

Vice PrincipalMs. Babita Singh, proposed the Vote of Thanks where she expressed her heartfelt gratitude to the distinguished guests, teachers and students, and gave the assurance that the students of Bosco Public School would be more sensitive and responsive towards the needs of the nation. The programme concluded with an inspiring rendition of the National Anthem.
