Theoretical Statistics & Mathematics Division of the Indian Statistical Institute will hold an International Conference in its Koltata Campus [203 B T Road, Kolkata – 700 108] during March 21-23, 2007. This will be a part of the Platinum Jubilee Celebrations of the Institute.

Participation is by Registration only. However, there is no

Registration Fee for the Speakers / Participants.

Eligibility of the Participnts

Researchers, Teachers and Practitioners in the Methods and Applications of Environmental and Ecological Studies may participate. Elementary knowledge of Probability & Statistics will be assumed.

(D)Travel Support / Local Hospitality

Limited Funds will be available for Partial Travel Support within India. Every attempt will be made to provide travel support to out-station invited speakers with the stipulation that their research manuscripts would meet the editorial standard of the Proceedings Volume and that they would strictly adhere to the deadlines for submission of their papers. Free Local Hospitality will be provided to all out-station participants. Working Lunch will be provided free of cost to the Local Participants.

We are in the process of contacting World Scientific Publishers for

publication of the Proceedings Volume of the Conference.
