for the Telecare/Telehealth Industry:
Including the launch of two new SBRI funding calls in Healthcare worth £1.3 Million
This event brings together not only the biggest telecare and telehealth procurers and the very best service and technology providers for partnering, networking and deal-making, but also gives you access to experts from across Europe who will give an overview of the current market needs and opportunities in telecare.
Plus you will find out how to access £1.3 Million at the launch of two Healthcare SBRIs:
The Small Business Research Initiative (SBRI) awards fully-funded development contracts which are open to all companies registered and operating within the European Union. We will be launching two new SBRIs:
- NHS South East Coast, the strategic health authority for Kent, Surrey and Sussex and the Technology Strategy Board (TSB) will launch their £500,000 new call for proposalsfor technology-based projects supporting those suffering from dementia and their carers.
- NHS South Central will launch their £800,000 SBRI calling for technology-based projects which will reduce hospital admissions.

Save yourself time and effort by registering in advance on our partnering website to preview details of participating buyers or suppliers, make contact before the event and pre-book up to twelve 30 minute one-to-one meetings. You will receive a password giving you access to the partnering site once you have registered for the event.

You will have the opportunity to pre-book one-to-one meetings with our registered Buyers, or with any other delegate. All one-to one meetings booked with our Buyers will take place in the Buyers Partnering Room. All pre-booked meetings with other delegates will take place in the Networking area. Once a meeting is agreed on the online partnering site you will be allocated a meeting point and this will appear on your individual schedule, which you will be able to print out.
Networking and Exhibition
During the coffee and lunch breaks and between booked meetings there will be ample opportunity for informal networking with telecare professionals from the UK and overseas and for visiting the exhibition area to find out what the UK’s professional bodies are doing to support innovative telecare businesses. Exhibitors include: South East Health Technologies Alliance, International Centre of Excellence in Telecare (ICE-T) and its three Showcase Sites, UKTI, Foundation for Assistive Technologies (FAST) and Technology Strategy Board with Health Tech and Medicines KTN.

Buyers will also have the opportunity to network with each other, and with the ICE-T Advisory Board, at the exclusive Buyers’ dinner on 5th July, with our Guest of Honour and after-dinner speaker Peter Saraga CBE, Chair of the Ambient Assisted Living Advisory Board.

Global Telecare Market Seminars
In the seminars you will hear how to access the two SBRI funding calls, plus international experts will guide you through the emerging field of telecare, explaining the market needs and opportunities. You will gain valuable insights into the varying levels of market maturity across Europe, and an appreciation of the business opportunities created by the potential widespread adoption of telecare and telehealth technologies.
The seminar programme, including the SBRI launch information, will be run once in the morning and will be repeated in the afternoon, so that all delegates have the opportunity to attend the talks in between one-to-one meetings. Pre-registration to attend the seminars is not required, but places are limited and are on a ‘first come, first served’ basis.
