HOUSEKEEPING INFORMATION
Please find below some useful information on (your) meeting arrangements and activities.
1. ACCOMMODATIONS
All participants will stay at Tropical Inn Hotel Johor Bahru. The hotel is situated in the heart of JB, close to the many local attractions.http://tropicalinn.com.my/location
· Check-in time : 2.00pm on 27thOctober 2013
· Checkout time : 12.00pm on 29thOctober 2013
You are advised for early checkout on 29thOctober 2013 (before you come for the second day meeting). A room for your luggage will be provided at the hotel. Participants who are staying for extra days, please inform the hotel staffs upon check-in (payment for extra days is expected upon check in).
2.TRANSPORTATION TO THE MEETING VENUE
Meeting Venue:
Bilik Seminar 2, Bangunan Pentadbiran, Hospital Permai, Johor Bahru.
Transportation to and fro the meeting venue will be provided, and awaits you at the hotel lobby.
Transportation schedule:
· From hotel to Hospital Permai : 7.30am
· From Hospital Permai to hotel : 5.30pm
For the participants who want to drive their own vehicles, adequate car parking spots are available at the site.
28thOctober 2013 (Dinner at Kapten Steamboat and Grill Restaurant)
· From hotel to Restaurant : 7.30pm
· From Restaurant to hotel : 10.30pm
3. REGISTRATION
Participants are required to register daily for the 2 days meeting. Upon registration on the first day please inform the committee if you are going to the dinner on 29thOctober 2013 at Kapten Steamboat and Grill Restaurant.
4. MEETING SCHEDULE

5.DINNER AT KAPTEN STEAMBOAT AND GRILL RESTAURANT
The dinner for the meeting will be held on 29thOctober 2013. All participants of the meeting are sponsored for the dinner, however if you are bringing extra guests you may have to pay. However we will try to make it ‘on the house’ (if possible).
The price for the buffet:
Adult : RM28 nett
Children : RM15 (height 0.9-1.3m/age:5-10)
6. PLACES TO VISIT IN JB
Despite the tight meeting schedule, we do hope you enjoy the city of Johor Bahru. Near the hotel, there are many attractions within walking distance.The nightlife near the hotel is good, as you can visit the ‘Pasar Karat’ and downtown JB.
If you are extending your stay or you come with your family, there are good places to check out before you go, among others; LEGOLAND, Hello Kitty Land & The Little Big Club at Puteri Harbour and Johor Premium Outlet. If those are not good enough, feel free to go to our neighbouring country – Singapore (12km from meeting venue).
