Payroll

__Lag Payroll: New employees receive first paycheck approximately four weeks after start date.

__Salary Withholding Program: One day is withheld from each paycheck for 5 pay periods to be repaid upon separation from service.

Salary

__Discuss beginning salary. Offer should be within range posted on the vacancy announcement. If negotiated salary is above the posted range, call Adrienne Collier, Assistant Director of Human Resources/Affirmative Action Officer, for approval.

Length of Initial Term

__MC Employees serve at the pleasure of the President and are considered “at will” employees.

Moving Expenses

__Moving Expenses can be reimbursed up to a maximum of $3,000.

Start-up Costs

__Discuss office arrangements, furniture, computer equipment, supplies needed, etc. for the candidate to be operational.
