Part Two – Clothing Suggestions
Remember that in many countries you may have very limited closet and dresser space to store your belongings and the list from Part One above is already long. It is not uncommon in many countries to have nice clothes but not a large number of outfits. In addition, you may need to purchase some clothes after you arrive in your host country to dress like students your age so that you “fit in”. Keep in mind that with clothing - the easier to wash and air dry the better!
Our inbound students from around the world reviewed this list and every single inbound student said, “Less is better” and Part Two is “Way too much” or “You cannot possibly carry/store/move that much ‘stuff’”.
